Reaction Save in a Square

In this drill, the goalkeeper is inside a square while a teammate/coach is outside the square with the ball. Cones of different colors are placed at the corners of the square.

The drill begins when the coach calls out the color of a cone. The goalkeeper quickly moves to touch that cone and returns to the center of the square.

As the goalkeeper returns to the center, the coach throws or kicks the ball for the goalkeeper to catch. The goalkeeper returns the caught ball to the coach.
