What is CoachTruly?
CoachTruly is a service developed especially for junior coaching in ball sports, enabling easier planning and sharing of session plans and drills.
Who is CoachTruly intended for?
The service is primarily developed with football (soccer) coaching needs in mind. In the future, versions will be developed for coaching at least floorball, volleyball, and ice hockey.
How does CoachTruly differ from other similar services?
CoachTruly is the simplest and most functional solution for creating and managing session plans, allowing coaches to better focus on the core activity of coaching. We are a small and agile operator, so the service is constantly evolving according to users' needs.
How can I try CoachTruly?
You can start using CoachTruly completely free by entering your email address. Create unlimited session plans with all basic features - forever free!
Can multiple users use the same credentials?
Each user must have their own account, as login happens through an email link. However, content can be shared to coaching groups, so credentials aren't even needed to read the session plans.
How much does the service cost?
CoachTruly Free is completely free forever, with unlimited session plans, drills, and sharing. It's not a trial. Free users see small ads; that's how we keep the lights on. Pro (€6.95/mo) removes the ads and unlocks club branding. Session planning stays free for everyone.
Who is behind CoachTruly?
CoachTruly is built by Wingmen Ltd, a Finnish software consultancy. We're football parents who saw firsthand how much time coaches spend planning sessions — and how few decent tools exist at the grassroots level. CoachTruly is funded by our consulting business, not venture capital. There are no investors demanding returns, no pressure to squeeze users for money.
What are animated drills?
The drill editor lets you create step-by-step animations that show player movement and ball flow. Mark elements as animatable, add keyframes at different positions, and your drill comes to life with a playback timeline. Animated drills are automatically tagged so players and fellow coaches can easily find and filter them.
Will you eventually make core features paid?
No. Creating drills, designing session plans, and sharing them with your team will always be free. Paid Pro covers club branding, and removes ads and watermarks. On top of that, we're a consulting company; CoachTruly isn't under pressure to become our main revenue source. We have zero intention of paywalling what coaches use every day.
What are Community drills?
Coaches can share their own drills to the public drill bank. These are labeled as Community drills, so you can tell them apart from CoachTruly's own drills. Use the source filter in the drill bank to browse official drills, Community drills, or both.
