Passing
Passing Drill in a Square
Description
Three players and four cones. The pass is always given from outside the square, and after passing, the player moves to an empty cone. The ball and players move around the field in opposite directions. The first touch is taken towards the next player, which emphasizes the correct body position. The cone can also act as an opponent, from which the player should move a few steps away from the square before receiving the pass.
Quality factors
Direction of the first touch Accuracy and power of the pass Movement after the pass Breaking away from the "opponent"
Key questions
With which foot should the first touch be taken? Is the body position correct and does it allow for smooth continuation of play? Do players effectively break away from the cone, thus creating distance from the defender?
