Description
Players are divided into two teams and the field into three areas. The middle area can be larger than the other areas. Play starts in the middle area, where players must complete an agreed number of passes within their own team (e.g. 3-5 passes). Once these passes are completed, normal play begins and players can advance to score goals. Defending in your own area is also allowed.
Quality factors
Movement and game reading – Players must move so that passes are possible and the defender cannot intercept them. Players must anticipate which direction the game will develop. Reacting to changing situations. Anticipation
Key questions
How do we move to get as many passing opportunities as possible?
