Finishing with back to goal

Finishing with back to goal
© CoachTruly
Description
Create a "defender" from cones (orange ones) and the attacker positions in front of them. A pass comes from the queue to the attacker, who takes the first touch past the cones to the side and shoots. As a variation, when the pass is made, the coach can shout the direction in which the attacker must turn.
Quality factors
Quality of the first touch: The attacker must be able to guide the ball precisely to the side past the cones and keep it in control for shooting. The strength and direction of the first touch determine how well the attacker can create a shooting opportunity for themselves.
Key questions
How can you receive the pass with maximum control and transition it smoothly into a shot?
