Description

The drill is played 3v2+goalkeeper. Defenders are not allowed to leave the box.

The drill starts with the central player's pass to the wing to the winger's movement.

The winger carries the ball forward and crosses to goal.

The central player and the other winger have made runs to goal as target players.

Defenders try to prevent the attackers from scoring.

Defenders stay in their positions for several rounds before switching to attackers.

How do you ensure you don't make a run to the same space as the other attacker? Where do you need to position yourself to prevent the most dangerous attacker from scoring?
