Close the Channels and Win the Ball

The area is divided into two sections and two small goals / gates made of cones are placed on the sides.
The drill starts with a pass from the end (from the red player) to the attacker.
The attacker's goal is to get past the defenders (blues) and carry the ball over the opposite end line.
The defenders' task is to win the ball and score in the small goals.
Variation: defenders can move freely across the area / defenders are locked one per half of the pitch / defenders start from the farther zone when the drill begins

- Defenders' pressing and support. Even if the zones are locked, the farther defender must also position themselves to provide support.

- Can you guide the attacker towards the flanks? Can you quickly turn the ball win into a scoring opportunity?
