Build-up Play Through Goalkeeper 2

Build-up Play Through Goalkeeper 2
© CoachTruly.com
Description
Players are divided into two teams. The field is divided into three sections: in the build-up area there are three yellow players and one pressing attacker, in the middle area there is one yellow midfielder, and in the attacking area there are two yellow attackers and three black defenders. So there is a 3v1 situation in the build-up area and play always starts from the goalkeeper. The yellow team's task is to play the ball to the midfielder in the middle area. When the ball has been played to the middle area, free play begins 3v3, where the yellows aim to score a goal and the blacks aim to win possession and play it to their team's attacker. As a variation, one additional attacker can be added for the blacks to make build-up play more difficult.
Quality factors
Active movement to find passing options. Observation.
Key questions
How should the goalkeeper participate in build-up play? What can we do if the opponent's presser manages to close down one passing option? Where should you position yourself to offer the best possible passing option? What factors influence who we pass the ball to?
