Mark out a square of about 10 x 10 meters. Five players start inside the square, each with their own ball. Five players without a ball position themselves around the outside edges of the square. The players inside the square dribble at the same time and look for a free outside player.
The player on the ball makes eye contact with the outside player and passes to them. The passer moves to the receiver's position on the edge. The receiver dribbles into the square and looks for the next free outside player. The outside players without a ball stay outside the square. If a ball gets away, the player retrieves it and continues dribbling. No goals or points are counted. Practice in sets of a few minutes.
In the second phase of the drill, the player on the ball first plays a wall pass (give-and-go) with one outside player and then passes to a second outside player. Positions are swapped with this second receiver.
