Description

Mark out an area with two goals on half of the court and divide it into two halves. Both goals have a goalkeeper. The attacking team places two outfield players in each half. Two opponents defend in the half where the build-up team starts. The other two opponents wait on the side next to their own goal.

The goalkeeper restarts with a short distribution. The attackers try to play the ball into the other half. When the ball progresses there, one of the attackers who started in the half nearest their own goal and both defenders are allowed to follow. Shooting is only allowed from the attacking half. The attack ends with a shot, a turnover, or when the ball goes out of play.

Rotation: the teams switch roles after every attack. The two players who waited on the side take up positions at the start of the new attack in the half nearest the opponent's goal. The two who have just defended start in the half of their own goalkeeper. The two players who started the previous attack in the half nearest the opponent's goal stay on to defend in the half of the new build-up team. The two players who started the previous attack in the half of their own goalkeeper move to the side next to their own goal. The next ball starts from the new restarting goalkeeper.

In the second phase of the drill, all four defenders are on the court. Start with a 2v2 situation in each half.
