Description

Play in a small area, for example the end zone. Two nets are placed in the middle of the area back-to-back, so the goal mouths face opposite directions. Goaltenders can be used in the nets. Play 3v3: the reds score into one net and the blues into the other. Because the nets are in the middle, play circles around them, and players must constantly track where the puck and the opponents are.

Play long shifts without changes, or if there are many players, change roughly every 30 seconds.

In the second phase of the drill, play an uneven-numbered game, for example 3v2 or 4v3.
