Description

Full rink, goalies in both goals. Play in groups of five players: three reds and two blues. Two reds wait behind the goal line at the left end, one on each side of the goal; two blues wait the same way at the right end. Everyone has a ball. The third red starts from the left end with the ball.

1v0: the red starting alone carries the ball the full length of the rink and shoots at the right-hand goal. 1v1: the lower blue sets off with the ball toward the left-hand goal, and the red who just shot turns to defend. 2v1: the upper red sets off with the ball and attacks the right-hand goal together with the red who just defended, with the blue defending. 2v2: the other blue sets off with the ball and attacks the left-hand goal together with the blue who just defended, with the reds defending. 3v2: the last red sets off with the ball, and three reds attack the right-hand goal against two blues.

A new player always joins from the end of the team that just defended. The previous ball is left behind. Once the 3v2 finishes, the next group starts.

In the second phase of the drill, after the 3v2, the blues get a third player as well and attack 3v3.
