Wall Pass from the Corner and Shot from the Opposite Side
© CoachTruly.com- Description
Played in a half rink into one goal, with a goalkeeper in net. The corner players' line starts with balls in the bottom corner, the center players' line is in the middle above the shooting spot, and the shooters' line is on the opposite side.
The corner player carries the ball a few meters upward and passes to the center. The center player passes it straight back to the corner player, who has moved to a new spot. The corner player then makes a cross-ice pass to the shooter on the opposite side, who takes a one-timer. After passing, the center player moves to the front of the goal to look for a rebound.
Rotation: the corner player moves to the center position, the center player becomes the shooter, and the shooter moves to the corner. Switch sides every few minutes.
In the second phase of the drill, all passes and the shot are made with one touch.
