Description

Players form two lines side by side at one end of the area: one line with balls, the other as defenders. A cone is placed a few meters in front of the lines. This marks the point after which the ball carrier is allowed to turn and the defender is allowed to try to take the ball.

The ball carrier dribbles past the cone, turns, and dribbles the ball back to the starting line. The defender starts at the same time from the line next to them and tries to prevent the turn and win the ball. After each turn, players switch lines so that both get to play both roles. If there are many players, set up multiple stations, for example a maximum of six players per station.

In the second phase of the drill, the defender starts from the cone against the ball carrier, which means the turn must be executed tighter.
