Description

Played in a half rink into one goal, with a goalkeeper in net. Players form three lines on the same side: the first line with balls near the center line, the second line on the boards at the halfway point, and the third line in the corner next to the goal.

The player from the first line passes to the boards and moves to the shooting spot in front of the goal. The player on the boards passes into the corner and moves toward the far post. The corner player passes to the player in front of the goal, who passes it straight back to the corner. The corner player then makes the decision: take the shot themselves, pass to the far post, or pass back in front of the goal. The player at the post collects any rebounds.

Rotation: the first line moves to the boards line, the boards line moves to the corner, and the corner moves to the first line. Switch sides every few minutes so that shots are taken from both sides.

In the second phase of the drill, a defender is added in front of the goal, and the corner player makes their decision based on which option the defender takes away.
