Reaction Game: Attack or Defend?

Reaction Game: Attack or Defend?
© CoachTruly
Description
Two teams in the middle area. Everyone dribbles their own ball within the area. When the coach shouts (e.g. non-bibs/bibs) or raises a bib/empty hand, that team starts trying to score. The other defending team leaves their ball in place and starts defending their goal. After winning the ball, they try to score in the opponent's goal.
Quality factors
Immediate decision making – Players must react quickly and transition to attack or defense. Environmental awareness – Players must quickly observe the field situation and teammates.
Key questions
How can you advance as quickly as possible toward the goal with the ball? How do you position yourself correctly to defend effectively?
